Applications are open for the McCall MacBain Scholarship 2025 in Canada. It is a fully funded scholarship for International, Canadian, and U.S. students for the Summer and Fall 2025 intake. The McCall MacBain Scholarship is to pursue a Master, or second-entry professional undergraduate program at McGill University. Up to 30 full scholarships and 100 Entrance Awards will be given. The full scholarship will cover tuition fees, monthly stipends, and airfare tickets for students outside Canada.

McGill University is a top-ranked public research university in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. McGill is one of Canada’s oldest and most prestigious universities. Applicants don’t need to take an admission first into McGill Univeristy. You will apply first for the McCall MacBain Scholarship. Then in September, you will apply for the eligible programs at McGill University for the Fall 2025 intake. This is one of the greatest fully funded scholarships to study in Canada. The McCall MacBain Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship program offered at McGill University, Canada, a public university in Montreal.

Financial Benefits

Up to 30 full scholarships and 100 Entrance Awards will be offered. So, a total of 130 awards for the Summer and Fall 2025 entry.

Full Scholarship Coverage:

  • A living stipend of $2,000 per month during academic terms.
  • A one-time relocation grant for moving to Montréal. For example a travel ticket for applicants from outside Canada.

The Entrance Awards start from $5,000 to $20,000.

  • Second-Entry Professional Undergraduate Degree
    • BCL/JD (Law), DMD (Dentistry), MDCM (Medicine)

Eligibility Criteria for Scholarship

To be eligible for the Scholarship you must meet ONE of the following criteria:

  • You can apply if you are a student and you will be able to get your Undergraduate degree by August 2025.
  • You have earned your first bachelor’s degree in the last five years (January 2019 or later)
  • You earned your first bachelor’s degree more than five years ago and will be 30 years or younger in 2024.

English Language Proficiency Requirements

  • TOEFL: IBT (Internet-Based Test): 86 overall, no less than 20 in each of the four component
  • IELTS: A band score of 6.5 or greater.

Proof of Proficiency Not Required if:

  • The mother tongue (language first learned and still used daily) is English.
  • Has obtained (or is about to obtain) an undergraduate degree from Canada or the United States.
  • Has lived and attended university, or been employed, for at least four consecutive years, in a country where English is the acknowledged primary language.
  • Has obtained (or is about to obtain) an undergraduate or graduate degree from a recognized foreign institution where English is the language of instruction.
